New Delhi – 110 020.
The COVID-19 pandemic has adversely impacted human life and economic activity across the globe. Following COVID 19 lockdown, electronics manufacturing and electronic component supply chains have been disrupted posing a serious challenge for almost every player in the electronics manufacturing sector.
Government of India has made a clarion call to all citizens of India to be “Vocal for Local” and work towards Atmanirbhar Bharat or a Self-Reliant India. The Government is committed to provide suitable incentives to attract domestic and global investors to strengthen the value chain for Electronics Industry.
A vibrant domestic electronics manufacturing sector can not only help India reduce import dependency and become self-reliant, but has the potential of emerging as a major export revenue earner for the country.
The market dynamics are changing and buyers and manufacturers are keen to establish new sources and debug and secure their supply chains. The world is moving towards a “New Normal” and ELCINA is moving ahead to help ESDM Industry to meet potential buyers and suppliers around the globe through a Virtual Edition of “Source India 2020” being scheduled on 9th & 10th September, 2020.
