ELCINA is the first Association to institute annual awards since 1976 for Excellence in Electronics. The ELCINA Awards are meant to recognise the achievements of electronics/I.T. manufacturing companies in India. An award for “Excellence in Quality” was also instituted from 1994 to spread quality culture. All electronic/I.T. companies with manufacturing base in India are welcome to apply for the Awards which are open to the entire Electronics/I.T. Community and not just ELCINA members.

ELCINA Awards are given annually for outstanding achievements in the field of:

• Exports,
• Research & Development,
• Quality, and
• Indigenous Development of Capital Goods
• Environment Management (Instituted from 2001-02)
• Business Excellence (Instituted from 2005-06)

In addition, ELCINA has also instituted an Award for ‘Electronics Man of the Year’ to recognise outstanding individual contributions to the overall development of Electronics in India.

Entries received every year are being scrutinised by a Panel of Judges comprising of senior government officials, senior members of ELCINA and other captains of the industry. The Awards so decided are being given away to the winners at a Special Function coinciding with the Annual General Meeting of the Association. Award entries are usually invited during the month of May and completed entries are received by Mid-July. For details and entry forms contact Mr. Kesavan
