In its endeavor to catalyse the flow of investment funds and rapid growth of the Indian Electronics industry, ELCINA had launched its consultancy services. Apart from in-house database and expertise, ELCINA’s consultancy division has tie-ups with three professional organisations with sound track record records and expertise in electronic industry.
ELCINA has focused on this activity since inception and it has gained in importance as members are trying to find new customers globally as well as locally. Entry barriers in large companies and MNCs are daunting and ELCINA facilitates the process of matchmaking and bringing together large and small companies so that they can find mutually beneficial avenues for business.
Some of the major Business Development Activities are -
- Organising ELCOMP India - an International Exhibition cum Conference to facilitate business development for manufacturers based in India
- Support SMEs in major International Fairs through joint participation with ELCINA: Electronica, Germany & SUBCON, Singapore
- Organise Vendor Development Meets -such as those organized during last few years with major buyers like Sony, LG, Defence Organisations, large EMS companies such as Flextronics, Elcoteq and Jabil and most recently with Nokia India.
- Support 2-day Annual Vendor Development Symposium (Bangalore and Delhi) - An interactive forum with customers - leading Indian and international OEMs present in India - to evaluate future demand pattern and also to strengthen linkages for vendor development and ancillarisation as well as to prop up contract manufacturing business
