ELCINA, in association with the CBI, Netherlands (Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries) is pleased to announce a two-day Workshop on Effective Trade Fair Participation.

 

Background

Participation in international trade fairs provides exhibitors & exporters with an excellent opportunity to promote their products and to establish contacts with potential business relations. The training Effective Trade Fair Participation offers Small and Medium Enterprises and corporate the opportunity to become familiar with the necessary knowledge, tools and skills to prepare, execute and give follow-up, to international trade fairs, especially in Europe.

 

 

Objective

 

 The objectives are:

-          to understand “the game of trade fair participation”

-          to be able to define requirements and be able to achieve these through trade fair participation

-          to set up a realistic, but ambitious exhibition participation plan

-          to plan on how to attract trade visitors before and during the trade fair

-          to gain knowledge to improve visual presentation at the fair

-          rules for success at trade fairs, tips for gaining self confidence and motivation to change unsuccessful behaviour

-          effective follow-ups and evaluate success in participation

-          to prepare a check list aimed at translating the training information to your own company’s or organisation’s requirements

 

Overview of contents

 

While the focus of the training will be on ensuring success in participation in European trade fairs, the rules and guidelines for preparation are applicable for all types of trade fair participation.

 

The training will address the following issues:

·         Are you fit to participate in trade fairs?

·         How do you set a successful exhibition participation strategy?

·         How do you secure the visitors’ flow to your stand?

·         Understanding sales from the point of view of the buyer

·         What does a successful stand look like?

·         How do you build a professional image at the frontline of doing business?

·         How do you successfully approach and deal with visitors at exhibitions?

·         How to successfully round-off your exhibition participation?

 

Who will benefit?

The programme is designed to benefit Small and Medium Enterprises and will be specially useful for organisations with interests in exports to the EU.

Faculty

 

Experts from Europe will impart training.

Mr. Ton Willemse and Mr. Klaas de Boer are experts on the subject and have conducted trainings in various countries. Besides being trainers, they are also successful entrepreneurs, which gives them the advantage of combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience.

 

Participation Charges

 

ELCINA & CEHA Members       : Rs.4000 per participant (Rs.4412 inclusive of Service Tax)

Others                                    : Rs.4800 per participant (Rs.5294 inclusive of Service Tax)

 

Discount of 10% applicable to organizations nominating 3 or more participants.
