TEKNIC ELECTROMECONICS PVT. LTD. was established in the year 1986 at Bangalore for the manufacture of electromechanical components such as Rocker Switches, Micro Switches, Circuit Breakers for Equipment, Rotary Switches, Push Push Switches, Slide Switches, Terminal Strips, and special purpose switches for electronics and electrical industries and has accomplished the folowing milestones of progress:

1987 : Land was acquired at the Electronics City in the year 1987
1988 : Construction of factory building with an area of approximately 11,000 sq. ft. was completed by the end of 1988.
1989 : Commercial Production commenced in the year 1989.
1990 : Permanent registration as small scale industry was recieved in April 1990.
1990-1995 : Designed, & Developed for manufacture, Electromechanical devices: Circuit Breakers, Rocker Switches, Micro Switches, Rotary Switches, Push Button Switches, Slide Switches, Special Purpose Switches, Terminal Strips.
1995 : Achieved ISO 9001 certificate from BVQI in April 95.
1996 : 'S' Mark Certification of all Rocker Switches and some other products from 'STQC', New Delhi.
: 'CSA' Certification of most of the products from Canadian Standards Association.
1998 : Achieved re-certification for ISO 9001 from BVQI in May 1998.
1999 : Supplier Certification from Modi Xerox for XEROX global requirements.
: VDE Certification of most of the products from VDE Testing & Certification Institute.
: Merit Award for Quality from ELCINA, New Delhi.
2000 : ENEC KEMA-KEUR Certifiaction Mark from KEMA Registered Quality B.V.,
: The Netherlands.
: CSA Certification of our Circuit Breaker TR 11
: VDE Certification of our Circuit Breaker TR 11

PROCESSES: We have a very modern design & development activity, well equiped toolroom, and Plastic Moulding shop. Our assembly is designed for using optimum work place layouts and in-process quality checks. Commencing from the incoming inspection upto final testing, our Quality Assurance activities are formulated to more than meet our customers' requirement.

MARKETING: Personal visits to customers all over India to demonstrate the technical features of our products, systematic advertising, participation in Trade Fairs have enabled us to popularise our products amongst a large cross section of clientele in India and also abroad.
