THE COMPANY
DGP Hinoday Industries Ltd., incorporated in 1963 is a joint venture between the $250Mn DGP Enterprises (Leading the Indian market in the areas of Moulded Luggage, Plastic Moulding Machinery, Moulded Furniture, Ferrites , Automotive Castings) and $4 Billion Hitachi Metals of Japan.

Hinoday is the number one manufacturer of Ceramic Magnets (used in the automobile and audio industry) and Ferrite Cores (used in Television and Computer Peripheral Industry) in India and has built up a strong presence in the field of Automotive Castings in its very first year of operations . Hinoday sales turnover in 99-2000was Rs. 123 Crore (Rs. 1230Mn)

Hinoday supplies more than 85% of the ferrites consumed by the Indian automobile industry and over 50% of ferrites consumed by the electronics industry. Hinoday has grown at a rate of over 20% per year in the last five years. Today Hinoday exports around 23% of its turnover to leading OEMs in Europe, USA and South East Asia.
