Continental Device India Ltd., (CDIL) headquartered in New Delhi is proud of having pioneered in India the manufacture of Discrete Semiconductor Devices since 1964. We were the first Electronic Components Manufacturer in India to have been awarded the IS/ISO 9002 certification in 1992 with the IECQ certification having been received in 1991.

CDIL has a completely vertically integrated Discrete Semiconductors Manufacturing Facility with a 10,000 sq. m. clean room area. This includes wafer fabrication to final testing with a high level of automation. CDIL’s comprehensive range covers :

  • Transistors - General Purpose / Small Signal / Swithching / RF / Power / Darlington in Leaded and SMD packages.
  • Diodes / Zener - Switching - Single and Dual in axial and surface mount.
  • Schottky Barrier Rectifiers - Single / Dual in Leaded and SMD packages.
  • Suppliers to OEM of Dice / Diffused Silicon Wafers 4” - tested and marked on sticky tape or vial pack.
Approximately 60% of our total production of the Discrete Semiconductor Devices in both leaded as well as surface mount packages, is exported in competition with world majors in semiconductors.

In 1994 CDIL set up a 100% Export Unit to manufacture for the first time in India, Discrete Semiconductors in Surface Mount SOT-23 Package. As on date, we have exported over 300 million Devices in SOT-23 package.

With a dedicated profession management, each and every employee of the company is actively involved in ensuring manufacture and supply of the highest quality devices which conform to the customer specification, as per their requirements, are delivered on time and at a fair price.

All CDIL Devices have the necessary approvals from the appropriate authorities including Component Approval Centre Telecom (CACT), Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), Electronic Components Standardisation Organisation (LCSO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India. International approvals include IECQ, EXACT and JSS. The full CDIL facilities are under IS/ISO 9002 Certification.
